According to RAINN.org, there are approximately 237,868 victims (age 12 or older) of sexual assault each year. Every 2 minutes an American is sexually assaulted… and 1 out of every 6 American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime. These are disgusting, unfortunate facts. It seems absurd, but these 11 products were created to help women around the world fight back against rape. They may seem silly, but they could legitimately help women protect themselves.

1.) This anti-rape, anti-mugging dress was created so that women can hide in plain sight.

2.) This belt buckle requires two hands to use, preventing attackers from easily removing clothing.

3.) India’s National Institute of Fashion Technology created these anti-molestation jackets. It would shock people giving unwanted advances.

5.) AR Wear (anti-rape) is made so that it can’t be torn or ripped off, protecting its wearer.

6.) This lingerie can be used to shock attackers.

7.) Female condoms with “teeth” that attach to a man’s penis and would need removed by a doctor.

8.) The Guardian Angel necklace, which will either cause your phone or ring or will send a text to a friend when you press a button.

9.) Hairy tights women can wear that will deter “perverts.”

10.) Consent panties remind partners that consent is necessary for engaging in sexual activity.

11.) This tampon has a hidden blade inside, so if a man attacks a woman and attempts to rape her, he’ll be stabbed.

This incredible video shows the moment a little plane coming in for a landing comes within inches of landing on a man sunbathing on a beach in Germany. In fact the plane came so close that it probably shaved off the man’s back hairs.

A 52-year-old amateur pilot and an engineer named Juergen Drucker admitted to German newspaper Bild that he had been the one flying the plane when it almost collided with the unidentified sunbather. He is quoted saying, “I noticed immediately that I was too low. The man on the beach was incredibly lucky. I’m very sorry…I couldn’t see the man on the beach…but I’m glad nothing happened to him”. Most of the time, it works like a charm. However, sometimes whatever you’re taking a picture of will move. Or maybe your hand will slip a little during the recording process. When that happens, the camera will glitch… resulting in a weird, photographic nightmare.

Everyone probably has a few complaints about their hometown. I know I do. Some are small, some are big. Some are rural and some are urban. … and then some have such insane names, you’d think a two year-old founded them. When I saw these 25 town names, I thought someone was playing a joke. But, oh no. These are real.

1.) There is where the horse with no name grew up.

2.) GASP! I knew the North Pole was a lie.

3.) I was meant to live in this town.

4.) Ah, a city for the desperate.

5.) I wonder how the tourism is here.

6.) Slow down, take time to look at all of the ugly.

7.) The internet is taking over our lives.

8.) Ummmm. Forget it.
